Lautapelit Celtic (Nordic)

Glauberg's Celtic prince must be replaced. The four families compete for influence by developing the surrounding areas and trading with neighbouring villages. Only the head of the most powerful family can become the next Celtic Prince!

In Celtic, players earn points, or influence, by completing objective cards and collecting merchandise.

At the start of the game, all players place their 8 pieces in a Celtic village, and each player takes a turn to move one or more of their pieces from one area to one or two locations along paths. The other players then decide whether they want to move one or more of their own pieces with the pieces of the player taking their turn.

In addition to moving, players can take turns scoring target cards or collecting merchandise. When a player has his pieces in all the locations shown on the target card, he can execute the card by removing one of his pieces from the locations shown on the card and revealing the card to the other players. He may then draw a new target card and the removed pieces are returned to the Celtic Village.

The game ends when one of the players completes their fifth target card or collects one of each of the 7 different merchant cards. The player with the highest score on the objective cards and merchandise cards wins the game and is crowned Celtic Prince!
