The different bleach strengths:

1.5% VOL 5: used when you need to make a semi-color (rinse color). A semi-color lasts approximately 24 hair washes and has a coverage of 80%. 1.5% bleach has no lightening effect on the hair. 1.5% bleach is the mildest bleach strength we have. Mix 1:2 (one part color two parts bleach).

2.1% VOL 7: used when you need to make a semi-color (rinse color). A semi-color lasts approximately 24 hair washes and has a coverage of 80%. 2.1% bleach has no lightening effect on the hair. Mix 1:2 (one part color two parts bleach).

3% VOL 10: used for permanent hair coloring. The coverage is 100% in non-gray hair. 3% bleach has no lightening effect. Mix 1:1.5 (one part color 1.5 parts bleach).

6% VOL 20: This bleach is used for gray hair and covers gray hair 100%. Gray hair is usually difficult to receive and therefore a higher bleach strength is used to ensure extra strong coverage. 6% bleach is also used if you need to lighten your hair slightly, as it can lighten approximately 1-2 tones. Mix 1:1.5 (one part color 1.5 parts bleach).

9% VOL 30: used for lightening colors. 9% bleach can lighten hair approximately 2-3 tones. Mix 1:2 (one part lightening color two parts bleach).

12% VOL 40: used for lightening colors if you want the ultimate lift. 12% bleach can lighten your hair approximately 3-4 tones. Mix 1:2 (one part lightening color, two parts stain).
