Each earphone in the FA19 features 10 Knowles balanced armature drivers. Specifically, FiiO has equipped the FA19 with 4 custom Knowles bass BA drivers, 2 Knowles ED midrange BA drivers, and 4 Knowles SWFK treble BA drivers.
The FA19 uses high-quality film capacitors as electronic crossover components, ensuring exceptional precision. While standard crossover resistors typically have a tolerance of around 1%, the FA19 boasts an impressively low tolerance of just 0.1%. This allows the FA19 to deliver not only more accurate crossover frequencies but also improved high-frequency resolution, compared to ordinary ceramic capacitors.
The FA19 comes standard with a pure silver, interchangeable MMCX cable. The cable is composed of 8 strands, each with 28 wires, totaling 224 wires. Each wire is individually insulated, and the cable sheath is made from environmentally friendly, transparent TPU.
In terms of both sound quality and technical design, we're not sure if a more refined pair of earphones exists on the market.
