A new design with 2 dynamic drivers and 2 BA drivers has been developed. The BA driver that previously sat in the midrange has been replaced with a dynamic driver to improve vocal performance and soundstage. With a double dynamic driver, a coherent and seamless transition between bass and midrange is achieved. You simply get a better atmosphere that draws you further into the music landscape.

Inside the FH5s, FiiO has carefully calculated how each driver should focus on bass, midrange, treble and ultra-treble to achieve a balanced and great sound. The result? Robust bass, clear midrange in vocals and exquisite treble without a trace of listening fatigue.

Although the default settings for the FH5s have the most balanced sound, there are 3 different switches to control bass, midrange and treble. If you listen to specific music or if you have particular preferences, you will find a specially adapted sound that suits your preferences.
Build quality with useful technology
In the FH5s you will find a lot of technology that is unusual at this price point. The earplugs have a semi-open acoustic design to eliminate pressure that builds up in the ear canal. Inside, you have a "trishell" acoustic design consisting of cnc milled materials - this prevents unwanted resonances and distortions. The cable is ergonomically adapted to achieve an almost perfect fit. MMCX plugs with "twist-lock" system for easy adaptation of 2.5 | 3.5 and 4.4 mm termination allows you to connect to any source. The earplugs are also Hi-Res certified.
