HiFiMAN Ananda Nano

Hifiman Ananda Nano is both a high-performance but also incredibly versatile headphone. It is relatively light-powered and can be used with less powerful amplifiers, e.g. from a tablet, a telephone or the output of an integrated amplifier etc. Of course, this does not mean that it does not get better when combined with a dedicated headphone amplifier, but it opens up slightly more possibilities of use.

Compared to the somewhat cheaper Hifiman Sundara (about half the price), the Ananda is remarkably more present in the lower frequency range, where bass passages are not only further forward in the sound image but also have significantly more structure and body, without being overwhelming. Likewise, the upper frequency range is experienced as being slightly more restrained, but no less detailed. In short, there is simply a better consistency in the sound from the Ananda Nano when compared to the Sundara. Of course, you also have to keep the price in mind and each headphone shines in their respective price ranges.

Wide frequency range with great dynamics
Ananda Nano covers a wide frequency range from 8 to 55,000Hz, thanks to the ultra-thin planar magnetic membranes. Hifiman has equipped Ananda with their latest planar magnetic Nano diaphragms, inspired by those found in Hifiman's absolute top models. This means that it is easier to drive, more dynamic and better resolved. The cups on the Hifiman Ananda Nano are not round but oval and sit comfortably all the way around the ear. The asymmetrical design follows the natural contours of the ear and the soft cushions are comfortable against the skin, even over several hours of use. The headband is a new design which, compared to previous models, has a better weight distribution on the head. The headband can be adjusted in 9 steps for an optimal fit.

Supplied with two cables
A cable for Hifiman Ananda of 3 meters with 3.5mm jack is included, which is suitable for use with a portable player, telephone or similar. An adapter from 3.5mm to 6.35mm is included. The cable is mounted in the headphones with two 3.5mm plugs and can thus be upgraded if desired.

Ananda Nano offers great listening experiences and you fall very easily into just letting yourself be sucked into the musical universe, regardless of whether it consists of classical, hard rock, metal or electronic music. There's not much Hifiman Ananda Nano can't serve, without doing it with enormous commitment. The only question that remains is just which album to listen to first on your new Hifiman Ananda Nano.
