HiFiMAN Edition XS

Edition XS nestles between the popular Sundara and the more expensive Ananda. As you can see, the headband is taken from the HE400/DEVA builds while the design of the cups is the same as found on the Ananda. The shape of the cups ensures a good fit with room for the entire ear, so that both comfort and sound quality are paramount. The sound signature is distinctly rich in detail and transparency with revealing qualities. In addition to the addition of Stealth magnets, the HIFIMAN Edition XS has also been equipped with the latest Neo Ultra Thin diaphragms which are 75% thinner than the original. It increases speed, improves the rendering of transients and perspective, and ensures nice dynamics.

The headphone is tuned to create an enveloping sound with a deep bass reproduction, three-dimensional soundstage, a delicious vocal range and an energetic upper frequency range that reaches up to 50kHz. If you have a Sundara and are considering an upgrade, or perhaps looking at a Sundara but would like to go a little further in quality, then the HIFIMAN Edition XS is the obvious model to consider. You get a comfortable construction with a high performance, in a headphone that only gets better the better amplification it gets. The headphones are supplied with replaceable cable terminated with 3.5mm mini-jack in the amplifier end (with 6.3mm adapter) and 2 x 3.5mm mini-jacks in the headphone end.

Edition XS is an open construction. Outside sound thus penetrates the cups, and the music can also be heard by those around you.
