Cable locator line tracer in bag Product description: The Metrel MI2093 Line Tracer is a complete cable locator set for searching/locating hidden cables and wires. The set consists of a transmitter unit that can be used on installations with or without voltage, as well as a receiver with adjustable sensitivity. The transmitter is battery-powered and can be used to search/follow cables both with and without voltage. Line Tracer easily finds any broken conductor, breakers, boxes, etc. When connected to a voltage-carrying cable, it is possible to follow/identify the cable towards the supply. The transmitter will indicate whether it is working on an installation with or without voltage and whether the battery voltage is low.The receiver indicates how strong a signal it receives by means of an LED bar graph display as well as an audible signal. On the receiver there are three levels of sensitivity to choose from which ensures precise searching.
