The TAKUMI paring knife by ZWILLING opens up the dimension of Damascus steel. This is where you will find a composition of Japanese craftsmanship and German engineering that is unparalleled in terms of hardness and sharpness as well as in its unique damask design. After all, every TAKUMI larding knife has its own unique blade pattern, which is continuous from the tip to the bolster. Each knife has been made in Japan as a traditional hand-crafted piece and comes with its own outstanding features. Thanks to its damask pattern, this Japanese knife not only has exceptionally good looks, its inner values are also impressive: 63 HRC stands for a particularly high degree of hardness that is rarely achieved by kitchen knives. 100 layers of premium steel and an FC 63 core were used to make the 10 cm, ultra-hard blade without compromising on flexibility. It is finished with a triple-riveted, rounded handle featuring Micarta shells. This means that you can peel fruit and vegetables with a genuine premium knife. A knife which was honed by master craftsmen in Japan to achieve the quality you need for your upscale cuisine.
