Hohem iSteady V2s is a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for smartphone that is designed for automatic face tracking without any app required. Normally, smart tracking is configured in an app by specifying what to track. But the iSteady V2 has an AI sensor built into the gimbal itself, right next to the smartphone's clip. Set the gimbal down on the included mini stand and turn on the AI ​​sensor by pressing a button on the gimbal. When you are ready for automatic tracking to begin, just show the appropriate hand movement to the gimbal, and it will begin to follow you along the three axes as you move in front of it. This feature is useful for live streaming, video calling, vlogging and creative and commercial productions. The gimbal traces the face of the person who showed the hand gesture, even if someone else enters the shot. When you want it to stop tracking, just show another hand gesture.

Although an iOS / Android app is included for special features such as dollyzoom and time-lapse capture, it is not needed to set up smart tracking. The advantage of this type of tracking as opposed to in-app tracking is that your phone will be free to use a livestreaming app, such as Zoom or Skype, as it will not be occupied by a gimbal app.

iSteady V2s gimbal moves almost the entire circle 320 ° along the pan, tilt and roll axles. Whether you use the smart tracking function or manually control the gimbal via the built-in joystick, it will stabilize the movements along these axes to provide smooth, stable and professional results. The adjustable phone clip fits up to 90 mm wide smartphones, and supports virtually all popular phones, such as the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The gimbal has a foldable design that makes it easy to store in your bag. The upper part folds over the ergonomically textured grip handle, which reduces the gimbal to about half its length.
