Captain America’s Shield is his signature armament, this star-spangled circular shield was crafted from nigh-indestructible vibranium by Howard Stark – father of Tony Stark. Steve Rogers carried the shield into battle throughout World War 2, and it remained by his side in the modern day, protecting him from bullets, alien lasers, and even Thor's hammer Mjolnir!
