In a posthumous message, the villain Mysterio revealed Peter Parker's identity as Spider-Man to the world and blamed him for his murder. Young Parker suffers the consequences of this revelation, even though he was cleared of the charges by his lawyer Matt Murdock, and seeks help from the sorcerer Dr. Strange, casting a spell to erase everyone's memory of his dual identity. When Parker begins to request changes to the spell so that those he loves can keep their memories, something goes wrong and the broken spell brings villains from alternate realities who knew Spider-Man's identity and opens portals from a multiverse. Therefore, the young hero has to face the threats of Green Goblin (Norman Osborn), Doctor Octopus (Otto Octavius) and Sandman (Flint Marko), who were introduced in the trilogy of films about the hero directed by Sam Raimi from 2002 to 2007, together with the reptile Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors) and Electro (Dr. Curt Connors). Curt Connors) and Electro (Max Dillon), who appeared in the 2012 and 2014 films directed by Marc Webb, withdrawn from their universes just before their deaths. To help Peter, his best friend Ned Leeds discovers that he can open portals using the mysterious Sling Rings from Dr. Strange.
