Outstanding reproduction
The 24-inch monitor has the format 1920 x 1200 which gives more space on height and a ppi of 94ppi / inch, which gives a pleasant size for the eyes of e.g. fonts and tools. The screen has an impressive contrast and brightness for the class, a full 1350:1 in contrast and 410 cd / m². As an added advantage, the text contours are clear and precise. The LCD panel with Wide Gamut (IPS) technology allows for a viewing angle of 178 degrees, which allows the hue and contrast to remain stable for the viewer.

Large color space for saturated colors
In order to use the full color spectrum of modern cameras, you need a monitor with the largest possible color space. Only then will it be possible to visually assess and edit the saturated shades in the file. That's why the IPS panel on the ColorEdge CS2400S, for example, covers the larger AdobeRGB photo gamut at 99% and 98% of the DCI P3. This means that the full color spectrum of modern cameras is represented in the best possible way and without tonal jumps. And an accurate simulation of the print result in the softproof view is also guaranteed.

Smooth transitions and gradients thanks to the 16-bit LUT and 10-bit
LUT (look-up-table) mode on the CG2400S use internal calculations with 16 bits for an extremely high color depth and the output signals with up to 10 bits. This provides billions of shades to calculate, effectively preventing display errors caused by the monitor, such as stripes or clipping, which can lead to tonal breaks in gradients or unnecessary colors in grays. Even fine shades and textures in dark or very saturated areas of the image can be displayed in a differentiated and detailed way.

Digital Uniformity Equalizer: perfect rendering over the entire screen
Each individual display panel is measured accurately over the entire surface of the EIZO factory. Any uniformity in brightness and unnecessary color, is detected and removed. This process (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) ensures that identical colors always look the same throughout the life of the monitor, regardless of where they appear. Only in this way is precise image processing and retouching possible.

Hardware calibration and high-performance calibration software
An external calibration sensor ensures that you achieve maximum color accuracy. Through calibration, you ensure that the screen is optimized for your work and display to the customer / viewer. The CS2400S has a whopping 10 presets, and with the help of the calibration software, ColorNavigator, the user can easily create their own profiles for their work.
Depending on the settings, a calibration takes no longer than from about 90 seconds.

State-of-the-art connection with USB-C
Image signal, USB data transfer, as well as power supply with up to 70 Watts, all this and more can be realized with a single USB-C cable. This makes the ColorEdge CS2400S the central dock in the graphical workflow. Peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, or printer can be connected directly to the USB-A ports on the monitor.

Flicker-free
