You'll need a Wireless Smart Thermostat Starter Kit if your home already has a thermostat with wireless connection to the hot water tank or doesn't have a thermostat at all. If, on the other hand, your home has a conventional wired room thermostat to control your hot water cylinder or underfloor heating, you will need a Wired Smart Thermostat Starter Kit. You can easily install the tado° Smart Thermostat yourself by following the step-by-step instructions in the app, or you can contact a professional installer if you prefer.
tado° is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.

(Auto-Assist is available in the app for £2.99/month, £24.99/year, cancel at any time). If you don't have Auto-Assist, tado° will send you a push notification reminding you to adjust the temperature.
You can add Smart Radiator Thermostats to your Starter Kit and control the temperature separately in multiple rooms. With the Internet Bridge included in the Starter Kit, you can connect up to 25 thermostats.
*You can access Energy IQ if your gas boiler is directly connected to a Smart Thermostat and controls no more than a single heating circuit.
