Almost 10 years ago, creator Jordan Weisman returned to the world of Shadowrun and modernized this classic game environment as a turn-based tactical RPG for a single player. In the urban sprawl of the Seattle metropolis, the search for a mysterious killer sets you on a trail that leads from the darkest slums to the city's most powerful megacorps.
You'll have to tread carefully, enlist the help of other runners, and master powerful technological and magical powers to make it out of Seattle's shadows unscathed.

In 2012, magic returned to our world, awakening mighty beings from myth and legend. Among them was the great dragon Feuerschwinge, who appeared without warning from the mountains of Germany and unleashed fire, death and untold destruction across the landscape. It took the German forces almost four months to shoot her down - and when they did, their victory became known as the Fall of the Dragon.
It is 42 years later - 2054 - and the world has changed. Unchecked technological advances have blurred the line between man and machine. Elves and trolls roam among us, ruthless corporations torment the world, and Feuerschwinge's reign of terror is but a distant memory. Germany is divided - a stable anarchy known as the "Flux State" controls the city of Berlin.
