In the world of Swordsman, Jötunn travels to Earth in an attempt to enslave all of humanity. He has recruited captains from around the world and given them divine weapons to use to command powerful armies. He has seemingly infinite powers: Hellfire.
The game features knights, vikings, mongols, samurai, epic boss battles and powerful boss weapons, a zombie survival mode (Horde), player progression and customization, a blacksmith, weapon master and skill master to help you build a character that suits your play style, and lots of items to buy and unlock, all in an effort to stop Jötunn before it's too late.
Fight in seven different themed environments against four different cultures, zombies and five different bosses with dozens of weapons, shields and armor to customize and nine stats and skills to upgrade. Use telekinesis to grab weapons, chronokinesis to manipulate time, and various stats to improve strength, speed, vitality, and more. The items you choose to use, carry or upgrade affect how the game feels and allow you to develop an interesting character with different strengths and weaknesses. Upgrade your strength stat to carry weapons more easily. Upgrade your agility to improve your speed when wearing heavy armor. Don't care about heavy armor? Put on the samurai armor and weave your way through the enemies at full speed.
Swordsman also contains gameplay modifiers. They allow you to change how the game works in fun and interesting ways. Hard enemies, invisible enemies (floating swords), enemies that only take damage when you hit marked body parts, and many more.
