Each amiibo figure contains a special chip with NFC technology. When you tap the figure on an NFC reader, the data is automatically transferred to the game, unlocking a variety of fun in-game interactions.
To use amiibo with compatible games, simply place the figurine near the NFC reader, and watch as special features come to life in the game. Amiibo figures can even save data, allowing each one to evolve and become unique to you.
In-game, amiibo can activate Statue Characters that can fight independently. They may fight against you, alongside you, or even battle other amiibo figures. The more these characters engage in battles, the stronger they become as they level up.
And as an added bonus, you can customize each amiibo’s moves, items, and costumes!
